Jhapa: Hosts Birtamod United Enters SFs Of Indo-Nepal Challenge Cup

Hosts Birtamod United has entered semifinals of Indo-Nepal challenge cup football tournament in Jhapa.

Birtamod defeated Panchayan FC, Sunsari 4-2 at Domalal Rajbanshi memorial grounds on Thursday.

Abhisek Gurung scored a brace while Pujan Uparkoti and Khamir Gilsan Kandangwa scored apiece for the winners.

Ashim Rai and Umesh Rai scored apiece for the losing side. Two goal hero Abhisek Gurung became the player of the match and received NRs 2500 cash.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 2,22,000 and runners up team will get NRs 1,11,000.
