16th Godhuli cup got underway at Tamaphok, Sankhuwasabha on Thursday.

Mirmire club defeated Nepal Police Club Biratnagar 4-3 on penalties to enter second round.

Both teams played an exciting 4-4 draw in a regulation time. Pradip Jimi became the player of the match.

Three matches will be played on Friday.

Mirmire yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 1,11,111. Runners up team will get NRs 55,555.
