Youth football: Junior White Lions Clinch U16 League Title
Machhindra Football Club U16 has won the title of ANFA U-16 Youth League Football Tournament.
Machhindra defeated Tribhuvan Army Football Club 2-1 in the last match of the league stage at the ANFA complex and became the champion.
Machhindra, who became the winner, received 1 lakh in cash along with the title, while Nepal APF, who won the second place, was satisfied with the trophy along with 50,000.
In the individual category, Subas Bam of Nepal Police Club was selected as the best player of the tournament. Machindra's Pemba Narbu Bhutia became the best goalkeeper. Sankata's Sabin Lungeli Magar won the top scorer award.
A total of 10 teams of A Division participated in the tournament organized by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
