News Rupandehi: Pharsatikar Youth Club Enters QFs Of 2nd Sampurna Cup

Pharsatikar Youth Club has entered quarterfinals of Dim Bahadur Gurung Memorial 2nd Sampurna Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament.

In the pre-quarterfinal match on Monday, pharsatikar defeated Lisnu Yuva Club 5-1 and managed to make it to the quarter-finals. Balram Neupane, Ashish Rana, Sujan Rana, Mukesh Kuwar and Avtar Thapa scored goals for Pharsatikar in the match at Tilottama-14, Supauli.

Mission Gurung scored the only consolation goal to get defeated there. In the match Suzan Rana of Fursatikar was declared Man of the Match. He received 1000 cash and a trophy as an award.

Ravi Aryal informed that the pre-quarterfinal match between Resunga Football Club, Durganagar and Ahana Football Club, Butwal will be held on Tuesday, November 12, as part of the competition.

The winner of the competition sponsored by Gurung and his daughter Shrimaya Gurung will receive a cash prize of 1,11,111 rupees, while the runner-up will receive a trophy and medal along with 55,555 rupees, financial coordinator Tara KC informed.

A total of 16 teams participated in the competition organized by Sampurna Youth Club, Tilottama-14, Supauli. Hem Pun informed that the final match will be held on the 24th of November.
