Hosts Two Star Club and Tijok Yuva Club will compete in the finals of the open men's football tournament organized on the occasion of Barahkshetra Kartike Purnima Mela.

In the first semi-final match held today at Satyahangma Mavika ground in Falgunand 2, Tijok secured a place in the final by defeating Abhayas and Anubhav by a wide margin of 5-1 goals.

For Tijok, Roshan Magar and Dipesh Rai scored 2-2 each while Lokesh Thapa scored one goal. The man of the match was Roshan Magar. Kshitij Thegim scored a goal for Abhya.

In the last semi-final match, the host Two Star, the previous winner, defeated Fakchuwa Fasing Chumbho Manjabung by 3-1 and secured a place in the final again.

Dhankumar Limbu, Jashang Nembang and Dil Limbu scored for the hosts Seto. Suren Lavati and Hari Nembang scored for Fakchuwa. Tomorrow (Wednesday) the final match will be played between the two teams. The winner will get a cash prize of 1 lakh 5 thousand and the runner-up will get a trophy of 65 thousand.
