Bishnu Bahadur Gurung and Manja Bahadur Gurung Memorial Running Shield Tournament 2079 is going to be held from the first of Shrawan by Jitakot Golden Future Youth Club in Madhyenepal-1, Jita, Lamjung on the occasion of Shrawan Sankranti.

The tournament will be a seven-a-side format and will be played at the ground of Shree Sarbanandan Ma. Vi.

The winners of the tournament will receive Rs. 1,11,111 and a shield made of silver while the runners-up will receive Rs. 66,666. The best player in the tournament will receive Rs. 2,500 and the highest goalscorer will receive Rs. 2,000. The entry fee for the tournament is set at Rs. 7,000.

The tournament is going to be held after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
