Local side Bijay Youth Club have made their place in the final of the Local-level Martyr's Memorial Makwanpur Gold Cup 2079. A star-studded BYC side defeated Nepal Police Club 1-0 to advance to the final.

Pepe's headed goal in the 52nd minute of th3 match was enough for BYC to finalize their place in the title bout.

Pepe was also named the player of the match and received Rs. 10,000.

BYC will now face the winners between Tribhuwan Army FC and Avenir FC, Cameroon in the second semi-final tomorrow.

The winner of the competition will get Rs 15 lakhs in cash along with the title while the runner-up will get Rs 10 lakhs. Similarly, those who excel in the individual category will also be given Rs 25,000 cash and a trophy each. The best player in the competition will get a motorcycle sponsored by the Hetauda School of Management.

A total of 12 teams including top clubs of the country are participating in the competition.
