Lalitpur and Makwanpur have made it to the final of the first-ever Bagmati Sports Men's Football tournament. In the first match held at the newly built Campa Stadium in Piple, Hetauda, Lalitpur defeated Dhading 5-3 on penalties to make it to the final. 

Both teams played a 2-2 draw in regulation time and the match was sent to penalties. Prajwal Shahi and Bikki Maharjan scored for Lalitpur while Rabi Bhandari and Bipin Kandel scored for Dhading.

Similarly, in the second match of the day, Makwanpur defeated Dolakha 5-1. Samiraj Thokar scored two while Lalit Chaulagain, Amir Shrestha and Anish Maharjan scored a goal each for Makwanpur. Swayam Shrestha pulled one back for Dolakha. Amir Shrestha of Makwanpur was named the player of the match.

The final will be played on Sunday.
