Makwanpur: 4th Bagmati Gold Cup Kicks Off; NJJYC Simara Enters QFs

4th Bagmati gold cup football tournament got underway at Phaparbari, Makwanpur on Friday.

Nawa Jana Jagriti yuwa club, Simara defeated hosts Bagmati rural municipality sports development committee 3-1 in the opening match played at Jana Ma VI grounds.

Alone Rai scored a brace in NJJYC's win and became the player of the match. He received NRs 5000 cash.

On Sunday, Nepal APF will play against Regal Resort Makwanpur XI.
