Jalpa Youth Club, Tehrathum has entered the semi-finals of the 3rd Ajay Bijay Memorial Cup Knockout Football Tournament held here.

Towards the third quarter-final, Jalpa defeated Rajabas Youth Club, Sunsari 3-1 and entered the semi-final. In the victory of Jalpa, Nishan Limbu scored two goals and Pravesh Basnet scored one goal. Anish Limbu scored the only goal for Rajabas.

Jalpa's Nishan Limbu was declared man of the match. Under the competition, the fourth quarter final match on 15th Jestha will be played between Himalaya United Football Club, Morang and host Sankalp Yuva Club, Sunsari.

The winner of the competition organized by Sankalp Yuva Club, Itahari will receive a cash prize of Rs 55,555 along with the title, while the runner-up will receive Rs 33,333. The final match will be held on the 19th of Jestha.
