News Rupandehi District League: DMC And Lisnu Played A 2-2 Draw

On Tuesday, DMC and Lisnu Youth Club drew 2-2 in the Rupandehi District League Football Tournament. In the match played at Butwal's ANFA Technical Center, DMC was unable to sustain a two-goal lead.

DMC got goals from Jiwan Subedi and Anil Neupane. Lisnu's goals came from Himal Thapa and Manish Pun. Man of the Match went to Himal Thapa.

Lisnu is now in eighth place with six points from seven games after this result. DMC, on the other side, is currently ranked ninth with five points. Gorkha Boys Sports Club is in first place, with 16 points after one fewer game.

In the ongoing league organised by Rupandehi District Football Association, a total of ten teams are competing in a round-robin format. The league's top team will be crowned champion. The winner will receive a prize of 100,000 rupees, as well as the title. Prizes have also been set aside for the second, third, and fourth place teams, according to Mukesh Kunwar, the league coordinator.
