The third Madi Gold Cup, with the slogan 'Sports for Health, Sports for the Nation, Youth's Way is Not Addiction and Addiction, It's Consciousness Organization and Nation Building,' will begin on January 15.

The finest eight teams from different districts, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Jhapa, will compete in the competition, which is being organized by Basantapur United, Basantapur Bazaar, Chitwan, according to chairman of the organizing club Nabin Basyal.

According to Chairman Basyal, the winner of the competition, which will be held at the local sports venue in Basantapur, would receive 250,000 rupees in addition to the title, while the runner-up will receive 125,000 rupees. 

Cash prizes have also been arranged for the tournament's best players, according to Chairman Basyal. The tournament's best player will get a cash award of Rs 15,000 as well as a trophy. According to the organizers, monetary rewards have also been set aside for the best 'fair play' team and exceptional players.

The competition is organized by the Madi Municipality's Youth Sports and Cultural Committee, as well as promoted Chitwan District Football Association. The competition will end on January 22nd, according to the organizers.
