Bhutan U18 coach Ugyen Dorji appeared cool and composed after registering a memorable, historical 3-0 win over Nepal U18 in SAFF U18 championship at Nepal APF grounds, Halchowk on Sunday.
Dorji said he didn't expect huge 3-0 over Nepal.
"I didn't expect 3-0 win over Nepal. Our strategy worked out properly. We had watched their match against Maldives. They played 4-4-2. We decided to break that strategy with 4-3-3 and it worked out. We read their (Nepal) system", said coach Dorji.
Despite the win, coach Dorji remained cool.
"We are not carried away. We are not looking back. I am still not happy. This is our first match. We are playing against Maldives and we will try to win over them", added Dorji.
Nepal will now wait the result from Bhutan-Maldives match on September 24. If Bhutan beats Maldives 4-0, Nepal will go through semifinals as group runners up.
