Chitwan: Late Jagdish Khadka Memorial Women's Championship Kicks Off

Late Jagdish Khadka memorial women's football championship got underway at Campachaur, Narayangadh on Tuesday.

Everest club defeated Panchakanya team B 4-0 in the opening match. Sanju Kumal became the shero of the match.

In the second match, Panchakanya team A defeated Bhedabari FC in sudden death. Rina Nepali became the shero of the match.



Earlier, chief guest YB Paudel inaugurated the championship. Central college of Vocational training is the main sponsor of the event.

Eight teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 40,000.
