Visitors Akraman FC, Sikkim has entered semifinals of Hamro Purbanchal cup in Jhapa.

Akraman FC defeated Belbari FC 3-2 in a tightly contested match played at Domalal Rajbanshi memorial grounds on Monday.

Kiran Limbu scored the opening goal for Belbari in the very first minute. After the break, visitors leveled the score in 64th minute through Rohan Rai. Rai struck again three minutes later.

Bhusan Limbu leveled the score for Belbari in 71st minute. Karna Rai had something in the script. He scored the match winner in 80th minute.

Two goal hero Rohan Rai became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Nepal Police club will play against Nepal APF on Tuesday.

Xion sporting club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 12,50,000.
