Chitwan: Bikash Running Shield Kicks Off

Bikash Running shield got underway in Narayangadh, Chitwan on Thursday.

Chitwan XI defeated Makwanpur XI 3-2 in the opening match.

Rumesh Bartaula scored a brace (35', 50') while Anish Shrestha scored for the winners in 71st minute.

Ravi Bhandari (68') and Krishna Rumba (72') scored apiece for Makwanpur.

Nepal Police Club will play against Saraswoti youth club on Friday.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 6,6,666 and runners up team will get Nrs 3,3,333.
