Jhapa: Red Horse Ilam Beats Munal FC To Enter Semifinals In Sainik Cup

Red Horse Ilam defeated Munal FC 3-2 on penalties on Friday to enter semifinals of Sainik cup in Jhapa.

Both teams played 2-2 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Rejin Subba and Sabin Magar scored for Munal while Nishan Rai and Chiring Gurung scored for Ilam.

Ilam goalie Purna Chemjong blocked three spot kicks to hand Red Horse a memorable win.

Sainik club is organizing the championship.
