1st Birtamod Gold Cup: Purbeli Youth Club Advances To Final Beating Jalthal FC

Purbeli Youth Club has marched to the final of 1st Birtamod Gold Cup.

In the first semfinal match played at Domalal Rajbanshi memorial ground on Saturday, Purbeli Youth Club defeated Jalthal FC, Haldibari 1-0.

Skipper Bikki Chaudhary scored the decisive goal through spot-kick in the 43rd minute.

Diwah Raut of Purbeli Youth Club was declared the man of the match. He was awarded with Rs.3,000.

Panchayan Football Club will face hosts Red Star FC in the second semifinal match tomorrow.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1,51,111.
