Jhapa: Hosts Red Star FC Enters SFs Of 1st Birtamod Gold Cup

Hosts Red Star FC has entered semifinals of 1st Birtamod gold cup football tournament in Jhapa.

Red Star FC defeated Triveni FC, Ilam 4-1 to enter last four at Domalal Rajbanshi memorial grounds on Saturday morning.

Shakti Rai scored a hat trick (48th, 69th & 82nd) while Khamir Gilsan Kandangwa scored another (20') to secure a comfortable victory for Red Star.

Rabin Magar scored a consolation goal for Triveni in 63rd minute.

Nishan Limbu became the man of the match and received Nrs 3,000 cash.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1,51,111.
