With a comfortable win, Bagmati Youth Club, Sarlahi became the last team to enter the semi-finals of the 2nd Deputy Mayor Women's Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament in Gaighat.

In the fourth quarter-final held on Friday, Bagmati defeated Royal Sporting Club, Jhapa 4-0 and confirmed their place in the last four. Anita Rana Magar, Senu Periyar, Isha Rana Magar and Salina Tamang scored goals in Bagmati's victory.

Bagmati's Isha Rana Magar was declared the player of the match. Under the tournament, the first semi-final match on Saturday will be between Dharan Women's Football Club, Sunsari and Namo Buddha Youth Club, Saptari, the organizers informed.

Organized by Udaipur District Football Association and the main sponsor of Triyuga Municipality, Gaighat, Udaipur, the winner of the competition will receive 100,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 55,000. The final match will be held on Asar 18.
