
All Nepal Football Federation has appoined caretaker assistant coach for Nepal national team.
Naresh Thapa, coach of Jawalakhel youth club, has given the role of assistant coach.
Nepal vs Pakistan friendly mach will be played on November 16 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
ANFA has already appointed A Division League winner Prabesh Katwal as the national team's head coach for the friendly. Earlier, Pradip Humagain had taken charge of the national team for the friendly against Bangladesh.
Despite the proposal of two friendlies by the Pakistan Football Federation, ANFA concluded the feasibility of hosting only one friendly, citing the approaching nationwide elections on Mangsir 4.
Pakistan have been training in Lahore for over two months and will travel to take on Nepal in what will be their return to international football after years of suspension. Their women's national team returned to international football in the SAFF Women's Championship in Kathmandu.
The last encounter between Pakistan and Nepal was held in 2018, when Pakistan were victorious 2-1. This will be Nepal's first match since the friendly against Bangladesh last month, where Nepal won 3-1.
