3rd Madi Gold Cup: Defending Champs Kathmandu XI Enters SFs

Defending champions Kathmandu XI has entered semifinals in 3rd Madi gold cup football tournament.

Kathmandu XI toiled hard to beat Central College Four Brothers FC 5-4 on penalites on Tuesday at Madi, Chitwan.

Silo Martin, Srijan Gautam, Dikesh Khadgi, Amrit and Sakal Regmi converted ther kicks for Kathmandu. Devid Gurung, Ranjit Chaudhary, Amos Limbu and Pujan Hona converted their kicks but Nabin Mahato squandered the kick.

Bibek Gurung became the player of the match and received NRs 5000 cash.

Basantapur united club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,50,000.
