There is one club at Gauradaha, Jhapa which is trying to uplift the movement of grassroots football.

The club Schoolchaun FC, which focuses on youth football development, was very active in youth football training before COVID lockdown.

The founder and the coach, Bibek Chauhan said they are still continuing training session but with less number of players these days.

"We want to engage the youth through sports. We also want to produce quality football players from this particular region", said coach Chauhan.

Manager Tara Kumar Shrestha also wants to engage more for the development of youth football in Jhapa.

The club is however sad for not getting any support from anywhere.

"We want sporting gears to continue our training. We reached out to many places but we didn't get any support. But that won't demotivate us to move forward. We will continue this training", added coach Chauhan.
