Rupandehi: 7th Pharsatikar Cup Kicks Off

7th Pharsatikar cup got underway at Pharsatikar grounds, Rupandehi on Friday.

Bhairab FC Nawalparasi defeated defending champions Bishwo Shanti yuwa club Saljhandi 5-0 in the opening match.

Binod Kewat scored a hat trick while Ram Bahadur Thapa scored a brace for the winners. Kewat became the man of the match and received Nrs 2000 cash.

Palpa XI will play against Sauraha yuwa samaj in today's match.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 2 lakh. Suddhodhan rural municipality is sponsoring the event.
