Nepal APF mauled Mid Western region 26-0 in the on-going 16th National women's league on Monday at ANFA complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.

Nepal international Sabitra Bhandari scored 12 goals alone while Anita KC scored five goals. Anjali Yonjan scored four goals while Rekha Paudel scored a brace and Anista Basnet scored another.

Bhandari scored in the 3rd, 15th, 17th, 24th, 34th, 40th, 47th, 52nd, 59, 60th, 77th, and in 90+1’ to complete her 12 goals.

In another match, Nepal Army thrashed Western region 12-0.

Indira Rana scored a brace while Puja Rana (36th) and Sharmila Thapa (54th) scored apiece for the winners.

National sports council is organizing the championship, which is managed by ANFA.

The champions will get Rs 2 lakh.
