News Waling, Koshi Province Secure Super Leagu Berth

After winning the important match, Walling Municipality and Koshi Province have entered the Super League stage of the ongoing ANFA Women's League National Football Tournament.

In the first match of the ninth round at the ANFA Complex on Thursday, Walling scored a thrilling 2-1 victory over Chandrapur Municipality. Usukriya Mia and Jacqueline Nasali scored for Walling. Sunita Sunar scored only one goal for the defeated Chandrapur.

After this win, Walling, who scored 15 points from 9 games, is in the top four. On the other hand, Chandrapur, defeated on the other hand, is forced to finish the season in eighth place in the league table with 8 points.

Similarly, in another match on Thursday, Koshi won 4-0 against Sudurpaschim Pradesh. While Samiksha Magar scored two goals for Koshi, Mamta Raut and Khushma Rai scored one goal each.

After this victory, Koshi, after collecting 14 points from 9 games, has entered the second stage along with Walling, finishing fifth in the league table. Defeated Sudurpaschim ended the league without any points.

Apart from Koshi and Walling, three departmental teams APF, Police and Army have also made it to the Super League stage. Super League stage matches will be on double round robin basis.
