Jhapa: New Star Club Khopbari Enters Final In Sainik Cup

New Star Club Khopbari has entered finals of Sainik cup in Jhapa.

New Star defeated Red Horse Ilam 2-0 in the semifinal match played on Monday.

Both teams played barren first half. Sonam Limbu from Ilam was sent off in 66th minute. Then New star dominated the match and scored the opener in 74th minute through Bishwas Lawati. Ajaya Rajbanshi scored second in 80th minute.

Rajbanshi was declared the man of the match.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1 lakh.
