Ruslan Three Star Club has made it to the semifinals of 4th Jhapa Gold Cup.

In the third quarterfinal match played at Domalal Rabanshi stadium on Wednesday, Three Star Club defeated Nepal Police Club on penalties to book place in last four.



The teams played goalless draw in the regualtion time to force the match to spot-kick battle. 



Bijay Dhimal, Buddha Raj Limnu and Rupesh KC converted spot kick from Three Star Club. Three Star Club goalie blocked two spot-kicks of Bharat Shah and Ajit Bhandari.

Ravi Paswan squandered penalty kick in the spot-kick battle.



Three Star Club goalie Alan Neupane was declared the man of the match. He was awarded with Rs.15,000.

Rupandehi XI will face Dauphins Team in the last quarterfinal match tomorrow.

Jhapa gold cup organizing committee is organizing the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 12,50,000.
