Jhapa, Morang and Udayapur has won their respective matches of Province 1 8th National Games Women’s Selection held in Dhankuta on Tuesday. 

In the first match of the day, Jhapa defeated Sunsari 3-2 on penalties. The teams played 2-2 draw in the regulation time. Jhapa goalie Dikshya Dhimal was declared the woman of the match.

Udayapur hammered Okhaldunga 7-0 in another match. Saraswati Chaudhary of Udayapur was adjudged the woman of the match.

Morang thrashed Sankhuwasabha 4-0 in the last match of the day. Ema Rai of Morang was announced the woman of the match. 

Districts from province 1 are taking part in the qualifiers. 

Eastern region sports development committee is organizing the qualifiers, which is managed by Dhankuta district sports development committee.

Dhankuta DFA is coordinating the event.
