The best player of the 11th Gorkha Rara Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament has been declared as the best player of the organizer Rara Football Club. Ram, who became the best, received a trophy with cash of 50,000.

Remember, in the final match on Wednesday, Salhesh Yuva Club, Siraha won the title by defeating the host Rara Football Club, Dhankuta in a tiebreaker. Before that, both teams played a 1-1 draw in the scheduled time.

Similarly, Faguram Tharu of Salhesh was chosen as the man of the match for the final match. For that, he received 7,000 cash and a trophy. Similarly, Yunish Chaudhary of Salhesh was also chosen as the best goalkeeper. Shisal Limbu of Rara became the emerging player organizer. All the best winners received 11,000 each and a trophy.

The highest goal scorer award was jointly won by Aditya Shakya and Armand of Salhesh who scored 2-2 each, Asim Rai of Dangihat Youth Club, Ashish Chapagain and Yogesh Gurung of Birtamod United and Nishan Limbu of Bhojpur District Football Association. The top scorers shared 2,000 each.

A total of 8 teams participated in the tournament which started from 10th of May last under the organization of Rara Football Club, Rajarani, Dhankuta.
