News Parsa: Inter School Football Championship Kicks Off At Subarnapur

The first round of the inter school friendly football tournament being held in Subarnapur, Parsa ended in favor of Shree Nepal Rastriya Ma. Vi with the score line of 2-1.

The match was a tightly contestant event where the defeated team, Shree Madyamik Biddhyalay gave their everything to win the match they had to face the defeat at last to the energetic bunch of lads from Shree Nepal Rastriya.

In the match where all goals were scored in the first half, impressive Megh Raj Mahato scored a brace for Shree Nepal Ma. Vi. but was later yellow carded for disciplinary issues whereas Khemlal Shrestha who was also awarded with a man of the match performance scored a consolation goal for the losing side.



It was all about Rohan Karki at the end of the second round match between the hosts Shree Gyanbatika Ma. Vi and Shree Ma VI in the ongoing inter school tournament being held in Subarnapur, Parsa. Forward Rohan Karki missed a penalty and yet managed to score all four goals in the 4-0 win over the spirited and disciplined Shree Ma Vi side.

Goalie Bibek Paswan was brilliant between the sticks although he couldn’t help his team gain the victory against physically strong opponents. The match was a well contested event but when defenders Jai Sahani and Manoj Sahani didn’t clear the ball properly the scintillating forward scored a screamer from outside the box. The first half ended in 1-0 to Gyanbatika.

In the second half, the match was still nicely poised with the score line 1-0 but a late capitulation and lack of concentration from Bagchaura defenders allowed Rohan to score three goals out of which one was scored from the penalty spot.

Gyanbtika will play Shree Nepal Rastriya Ma Vi in the final of the tournament whereas Bagchaura will lock horns with Shree Ma. Vi. Bijaybasti in the third place play off.
