Welfare Society has entered semifinals of 1st Rupandehi cup football tournament.

Welfare defeated Krishna Jung yuwa club 4-2 in quarterfinal match played on Wednesday.

Sachin G.C, Ratan Shahi, Aashish GC and Arun Chaudhary scored apiece for the winners. Mohan Bhandari and Suresh Pulami scored apiece for the losing side.

Sunaulo Sangam will play against hosts Sanyukta yuwa club on Thursday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,01,111.
