Riddhi Siddhi cement 24th Adarsha cup 2075 got underway at Lekhnath, kaski on Wednesday.

Hosts Adarsha yuwa club defeated Tanahun FA 4-1 in the opening match. Bel Prashad Gurung scored a hat trick for the winning team.

Pokhara XI will play against Syangja FA on Thursday.

Earlier, Sports minister Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma inaugurated the championship. MLA Dipak Koirala, founding president Chet Bahadur Gurung, Kaski DFA president Milan Gurung and other guests were present in the program.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh.
