Western region police training centre has entered semifinals of 18th Lishnu cup.

The centre defeated Bhairav FC, Nawalparasi 1-0 in quarterfinal match played on Tuesday.

Dhaniram Chaudhary scored the match winner. He became the man of the match.

Waling municipality will play against Nawayuwa sports and cultural family on Wednesday.

Lishnu yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh.
