News Nepal International Bishal Rai Breaks His Silence; Claims National Team Close Camp Started Just From Sunday !
GoalNepal

Nepal international Bishal Rai is one of the most sober players in national squad.

He has broken his silence over media reports on late night out issue.

Media reported that five players including him were out of camp till late night.

Rai spoke at length with GoalNepal about the issue.

Frankly speaking, ANFA hadn't started close camp till Friday. Players used to go out every weekends and ANFA and media had no problem. Close camp started just from Sunday (after this incident).

That day (past Friday), we were out for birthday celebration. We returned hostel because we don't have home here in Kathmandu. Those who have their home in Kathmandu didn't return to the hostel that night.

It's a boys' hostel. May be we were loud but we didn't create scene like it was reported in media.

We were very surprised to see media report claiming us going to disco and creating scene at ANFA hostel upon returning.

If we had close camp, we wouldn't have gone out for celebration. I repeat close camp started just from Sunday.

I would like to challenge media to show proof against us going disco. Media can't write anything whatever they like.

I feel very sad. We haven't done anything wrong.

Editor Note:

GoalNepal had earlier published the news after ANFA's spoksperson Kiran Rai had confirmed us about the issue. We published another news about most of the players leaving the camp based on close source at ANFA.

The FA has already decided to sought clarification from players, coach, team manager and hostel warden.
