Hosts Bhu Pu Sainika Jwai Sporting Club A has marched into the semifinals of 2nd Bhu Pu Sainik Cup knock out football tournament.

In the third quarterfinal match played at Jwai ground, Salghari, Butwal on Monday, Hosts A team defeated Gorkha Boys Club 2-0.

Anup Gurung scored both goals for the winning side. He was declared the man of the match.

Janajyoti Club will face Sunaulo Shanti Yuwa Club in the last quarterfinal match tomorrow.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,51,000. Final match will be played on Baisakh 1.
