The 14th Bagar Bhaikhalak International Invitational Veterans Football Tournament organized by Bagar Bhaikhalak in Tundikhel, Pokhara with the slogan ‘One hour of exercise for health, a new dimension for citizens’ has concluded.

Brotherhood Kathmandu has emerged as the champion for the 40th anniversary of the tournament, which was held in three age groups (40 years, 50 years and above 60 years).

Brotherhood emerged as the champion by defeating Garden FC by a 2-0 goal margin in the final match.

The title-winning Brotherhood received a cash prize of Rs. 200,000, a shield, a medal and a certificate. Similarly, the runner-up Garden received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000, a shield, a medal and a certificate. Buddharaj Limbu of Brotherhood Veterans was awarded the best player in that category.

Similarly, goalkeeper Min Bahadur Basnet of the same team, Angur Kumar Khadki of the same team were awarded the best striker, Garden's Binod Gurung the best midfielder, Kiran Gurung of the same team the best defender and Komal Khawas of Brotherhood the best coach.

In the 60 years age group, UK Masters Dehradun defeated CDFA Chitwan Veterans by a 1-0 goal margin to become the champion. UK Masters received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000, a shield, a medal and a certificate along with the title. Meanwhile, Bhai Khalak President Ishwarman Gurung informed that the runner-up Chitwan Veterans were awarded Rs 30,000 in cash, a shield, a medal and a certificate. According to him, Bharat Ghosai of Dehradun became the best player in that category.
