The 14th Bagar Bhaikhalak International Invitational Veterans Football Tournament organized by Bagar Bhaikhalak in Tundikhel, Pokhara with the slogan ‘One hour of exercise for health, a new dimension for citizens’ has concluded.

Brotherhood Kathmandu has emerged as the champion for the 40th anniversary of the tournament, which was held in three age groups (40 years, 50 years and above 60 years).

Brotherhood emerged as the champion by defeating Garden FC by a 2-0 goal margin in the final match.

The title-winning Brotherhood received a cash prize of Rs. 200,000, a shield, a medal and a certificate. Similarly, the runner-up Garden received a cash prize of Rs. 100,000, a shield, a medal and a certificate. Buddharaj Limbu of Brotherhood Veterans was awarded the best player in that category.

Meanwhile, Bhai Khalak President Ishwarman Gurung informed that the runner-up Chitwan Veterans were awarded Rs 30,000 in cash, a shield, a medal and a certificate. According to him, Bharat Ghosai of Dehradun became the best player in that category.
