Katari Tiger FC, Simara veterans have entered quarterfinals of 4th Jitpursimra Veteran Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament.

In the first match at Simara Stadium on Wednesday, ABC Veteran from Pokhara triumphed over Dharan Veteran, Sunsari, winning 3-2 in a penalty shootout after a thrilling 2-2 draw in regulation time. Rajkumar Ghising and Nilendra Dewan netted for ABC, while Satish KC scored both goals for Dharan.

The second match saw Nava Janjagriti Veterans Club, Simra, secure a 3-1 victory against Hetouda Veterans, Makwanpur. Ompal Singh was the standout performer, scoring twice, with Dil Bahadur Karki adding another. Rajendra Thapa managed a consolation goal for Hetauda.

In the third encounter, Clive House Veteran from Kolkata edged out Chitwan Veteran with a narrow 1-0 win, thanks to Bijay Adhikari’s sole goal.

The final match of the day featured United Batasia Veteran from Darjeeling, who defeated Birganj City Veteran 3-1. Goals from Sudip Rai, Narbu Lama, and Galson Lama sealed the victory, while Suresh Shrestha scored for Birganj.

The organizers announced that all four quarterfinal matches will take place on October 3rd. The fixtures include:
