
The Rising Bharatpur Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament is being organized by Chitwan 11 Football Club from Magh 12 onwards.
Information about the tournament was given through a press conference organized at the Resort Mission Safal. The tournament to be held at the grounds of Nepal Police Academy Bharatpur Training Center will continue until Magh 19. Club President Sushil Karki informed that 8 teams, including the A Division, will participate in the tournament.
Eight teams, including the A Division Club Nepal Police, will participate in the tournament, including Saraswati Youth Club Kathmandu, Bagmati Youth Club Sarlahi, Abukhaireni Municipality, Gaindakot Football Club, Suryapur Football Club, Bharatpur 24 Sports Development Committee and Paradise Youth Club.
The winner of the tournament will receive 700,000 rupees along with a trophy, while the runner-up will receive 300,000 rupees.
Similarly, the best player in each discipline will receive 10,000 rupees and the player of the match of each day will receive 5,000 rupees. Club President Karki said that tickets will be arranged for Rs 50 in the first phase of the competition, Rs 100 in the semi-finals and Rs 200 in the final.
The club had previously organized the Bharatpur Championship Cup last year. Karki said that this time the Gold Cup was organized with the plan to further expand the competition by revising it. At the press conference, newly elected Chitwan District Sports Development Committee President Rajan Karki wished the success of the competition.
