Chandrapur Municipality secured their first victory of the season in the final match of the fourth stage of the ANFA Women's League National Football Tournament on Friday.
Chandrapur triumphed 4-0 over Sudurpaschim in the sole match of the day at the ANFA Complex on Friday. Goals were scored by Rajni Thokar, Anita Rana Magar, Sajni Thokar, and Sunita Sunar.
With this win, Chandrapur has accumulated 5 points from 4 matches and is now 6th in the league standings. Sudurpaschim remains at the bottom of the table with no points. Nepal Police Club leads the league with 10 points.
The league features 10 teams, with the champions receiving a cash prize of 10 million and the runner-up earning 5 million. Additional cash prizes are also available for standout performers.
