The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced that the ANFA Women's League will commence on September 1, 2024 (Bhadra 16, 2081).

This decision was confirmed in a recent meeting held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, where ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai and CEO Indraman Tuladhar outlined the tournament's details to the participating clubs.

The League will feature 10 teams: APF Football Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, Chandrapur Municipality, Waling Municipality, Koshi Province, Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province, Sankata FC, and Bagmati Youth Club. These teams were selected through qualifiers held in Surkhet from April 19 to May 2, 2024 (Baisakh 7-20, 2081), with Koshi Province, Sudurpaschim Province, and Karnali Province emerging as the top qualifiers.

The competition will follow a single round robin format during the first round, where each team will play a total of 45 matches. After a break, the top five teams will advance to the Super League, competing in a double round robin format. The top four teams from the Super League will then vie for the title in the Qualifiers, Eliminator, and Final rounds.

The tournament will kick off at Dasharath Stadium, with additional matches scheduled at Chyasal Stadium and ANFA Complex in Satdobato. To support their preparations, each participating team will receive Rs 700,000.

The ANFA Women's League is set to conclude in December 2024.
