Pokhara Metropolitan City 17 and 13 won their respective matches in third day of Hemja Veterans Cup.

In the first match held today, Pokhara 17 defeated 11 by 2-0 and won. In the 40th minute of the game, Kisan Gauchan and in the 62nd minute, Bed Bahadur Thapa scored one goal each.

In another match today, Pokhara 13 defeated 4 by a huge margin of 9-1 and decided to advance. Surendra Gurung of Pokhara 13 opened the scoring in the second minute of the game. Raj Kumar Gurung of the same team scored two goals. Similarly, Rajesh Gurung, Vijay Kumar Shrestha, Dhanraj Tamang, Darshan Shrestha, Bhakt Gurung and Amber Bahadur Gurung scored one goal each. Darya Jang Rana of Pokhara 4 scored the consolation goal.

Hemja Veterans Cup, organized by Hemja United and under the protection of Pokhara Metropolitan City, started from Saturday in Hemja of Pokhara and will be conducted till Asar 7, 2081.

The first team in the competition will receive 111,111 cash and the second team will receive 55,555 cash along with trophies, medals and certificates.
