Both teams of Purveli Youth Club are playing the final of late Durgadevi Shrestha Memorial Veterans Football Tournament.

Dipen Chowdhury, the chairman of the organizer Purveli Yuva Club, said that the winner of the competition will get Rs 1 lakh 1 thousand 111 in cash, trophy and medal, while the runner-up will get Rs 55 thousand 555 in cash. Likewise, the player of the match of each game will receive cash 2500 and a trophy.

The best player of the tournament will be awarded 10,000 cash and a trophy. Coordinator Tekraj Teeling said that the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, high scorer and coach of the tournament will receive cash of five thousand and a trophy. Ravin Shrestha, chairman of Purveli Yuva Club Birtamod, presented the cash prize to the winner in memory of his mother Durgadevi Shrestha.

This club, established 15 years ago as a joint organization of the leading youth of Birtamod, has been leading in social work along with sports.
