Koshi province has won the fourth consecutive victory in ANFA women's league selection.
Koshi defeated Lumbini Pradesh 3-0 in the match at Karnali Stadium in Surkhet on Friday morning.
Manita Tumarok scored for Koshi in the 39th and 57th minutes. Before that, Sanjumaya Tamang took the lead by scoring in the 23rd minute.
After the fourth win in a row, Koshi has reached the top position with 12 points from 4 games and is close to qualifying for the National Women's League. Koshi had earlier defeated Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Gandaki provinces. Koshi now has to play against Bagmati and Madhesh Pradesh.
Koshi will now win only one of the remaining two games. Even if they lose both matches, Koshi will be able to qualify for the women's league by remaining in the top three.
Lumbini, who suffered its second defeat, is in fifth place with 3 points from 3 matches.
In another match, Madhesh province defeated Gandaki province 2-0.
The top three teams will be selected for the National Women's League from the qualifying tournament in which seven provinces are participating.
