Janga bahadur Thapa memorial 3rd Dandabazar gold cup football tournament kicked off at Dandabazar, Saghurigadhi, Dhankuta.

Taltalaiya FC, Sunsari defeated Dangihat FC, Morang 2-0 in the opening match.

In the second match, Nirajan Yuwa club, Dharan sidelined Gaighat FC, Udayapur 2-0. Two quarterfinal will be played tomorrow. 

Dandabazar FC is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,50,000.
