News Basanta Guachan Football Academy Off To Tokyo, Japan

Basanta Guachan (BG) football academy U12 players have gone to Tokyo, Japan to compete in Copa Puma Toreros Cup. This championship is one of the largest youth football tournaments in Japan. 

Former Nepal international and coach Basanta Gauchan is leading the project. He is supported by Prakash Tulachan and other members. Nepal women's team head coach Rajendra Tamang is coaching the team.

Fun Roots academy is the organizer of the event. The owner of the academy, Jun Hirano San is very close to Nepal and he is supporting the project since its inception. 

"I am excited to welcome U12 players from BG football academy to Japan. We want to invite the best Nepal U12 players to Japan from our academies", said former Nepal international Basanta Gauchan. 

Gauchan is running academies in Pokhara & Kathmandu.
