Ward No. 12 and Ward No. 9 have made a winning start on the second day of the Ward No. 15 Ward President's Cup Knockout Football Tournament which started in Hetauda from Friday.

Ward No. 12 defeated Ward No. 18 by 2-0 in the first match at Gauritar Stadium. In the match, ward number 12 was able to win with the help of 2 goals from Sriraj Ghalan. Sriraj Ghalan who scored two goals in the match was declared the man of the match.

Similarly, in the second match held today, Ward No. 9 defeated ward number 2 1-0. In the match, number 9 Surendra Aryal scored a goal for the winning team.

Surendra who scored the winning goal was declared the man of the match. The man of the match of both the matches won the trophy along with cash 1500.

Tournament coordinator Gobinda Negi said that there will be two matches on Sunday as part of the tournament.

The winner of the competition organized by Hetouda Sub-Metropolitan City No. 15 Ward Sports Development Committee will receive 100,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 50,000. The final match will be held on the 18th of Chaitra.
