Right Lane Education Bagmati Yuva Club became the fourth team to enter the semi-finals of the ongoing 8th Suryanagar Gold Cup National Knockout Football Tournament at Suryanagar, Bardaghat.
Bagmati defeated Birganj United 2-1 in the fourth and last quarterfinal at Suryanagar Stadium on Thursday and entered the last four. Abhi Lama of Bagmati was declared Man of the Match in the match.
Under the competition, the first semi-final match on Friday will be played between Nepal Police Football Club and Nawalparasi-11, informed the game coordinator Bharat Gurung.
The winner of the competition organized by Shree Nava Yuva Club, Bardghat-16, Suryanagar will get a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh along with the title, while the runner-up will get Rs 3 lakh.
A total of eight teams will participate in the final match of the tournament on Falgun 7.
