The schedule of the local level Shahid Smriti 6th Makwanpur Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament, which is going to start from the 16th of Magh, under the organization of Makwanpur District Football Association, has been announced.

The visiting team Paro Football Club, Bhutan and Right Lane Bagmati Youth Club, Sarlahi will face each other in the opening match of the tournament to be held at Gauritar Stadium, Makwanpur, Hetauda-6.

According to the organizers, since the Pokhara Gold Cup is also ongoing, in coordination with the clubs, only the dates of the first four match schedule have been determined.

The final match of the tournament in which total 12 teams are participating will be held on 27th of Magh.

The winner of the competition, which is the main sponsor of the local bodies of Makwanpur, will receive 1.5 million in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 1 million.

Similarly, Tikaram Lama, President of Makwanpur District Football Association informed that the best player of the tournament will receive a bullet motorcycle.
