Preparations for the 11th Pharsatikar Cup National Knockout Football Tournament of Suddhodhan Rural Municipality to be organized by Farsatikar Yuva Club, Suddhodhan-4, Pharsatikar, Rupandehi have been completed.

The organizers also organized a press conference on Saturday to inform about the competition. The schedule of the tournament, which is going to start from the 9th of January, has also been announced.

Suddhodhan Sports Development Committee, Suddhodhan and Sampurna Youth Club, Supauli will face each other in the opening match at Farsatikar Umavi Stadium.

A total of 12 teams from Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Nawalparasi, Palpa and Chitwan participated in the competition, said sports coordinator Amrit Khadka. Mukesh Kunwar, the president of the organizing club, said that the tournament has been continued targeting the youth and local players of Mofusal.

According to Bishnu Pangeni, the acting secretary of the organizing club, the winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of Rs 2,75,555, while the runner-up will receive Rs 1,35,555.

Game coordinator Amrit Khadka also informed that the ticket price of the competition is fixed at 100 from the opening to the semi-finals and 200 for the final. It was also informed in the press conference that the conclusion of the competition and the finals will be held on the 21st.
